Duel Blackjack Live has not dealt a hand since 17 September 2026. Duel says an intruder got into its studio. On 30 September its support told us the table is under maintenance and nobody knows when it will be back. Here is what the house has said, what it has not, and the full dated list of scandals the table ran through before it went dark.
- The streamed table at duel.com/live-blackjack is offline. The page shows an outage banner and the error Game not found.
- Duel’s reason is an incident at its studio. Its Discord post says an intruder entered, the suspect is in custody and no one was hurt.
- No police statement has been published. Duel has not named the city or the suspect.
- Duel has given no return date in three places: the Discord post, the page banner and live support.
- The software Duel Blackjack in the Originals row still works. Only the live dealer table is down.
- X has suspended the official Duel account and the account of its owner Ossi Ketola (Monarch). The Duel Instagram account no longer exists.
What the page shows now
We opened duel.com/live-blackjack on 30 September 2026 at 17:29 UTC. The game frame is empty. A banner across the top reads: “Live Blackjack is currently unavailable due to an incident at our studio. We don’t have an ETA yet for the table coming back up. Please bear with us, we’ll announce any updates on the situation.” Under it the site returns Game not found. The old beta address of the table redirects to the same screen.
The home lobby has no live blackjack card either. That part is not new. The live table never sat in the Originals row, so its absence there proves nothing. The banner is the real signal.
What Duel said on 17 September
“The Duel Blackjack table is closed indefinitely due to an incident at our studio.”

The rest of the post was short. Duel wrote that an intruder got into the building and the whole studio was shut for a while. The house was still waiting for a full report from the studio. As far as it knew, the suspect was in custody and nobody was hurt. It gave no date for the table to return and promised to post updates. It closed with a line condemning violence and threats of violence.
That post is the only first-hand account. Other reports add details Duel did not give. One says the person behaved in a threatening way. Another says witnesses thought he carried something that looked like a weapon, and flags that as unconfirmed. A third mentions masked men, while Duel speaks of one intruder. We treat all of these as claims.
What support told us on 30 September
We asked Duel live support whether Duel Blackjack Live was still working. The reply came within minutes:
“duel bj is currently under maintenance, we dont have an eta just yet on when it will be back up”

So the house describes one outage in three ways.

None of the three says the table is closed for good. None ties the shutdown to the stream scandals below. Both the banner and the Discord post promise updates. We have not seen one in thirteen days.
Duel’s X and Instagram accounts are gone too
We checked x.com/duel on 30 September 2026. X shows “Account suspended. X suspends accounts which violate the X Rules.” The personal account of Duel’s owner, x.com/Monarch, shows the same notice. X does not say which rule was broken.
Reports disagree on when this happened. One says X suspended Duel and Ketola as early as 22 October 2025. Another first found both accounts suspended on 9 August 2026. In an AMA, Ketola said the Duel account should be back soon. On 30 September it was still suspended.
On 30 September the official Duel account at instagram.com/duelcom no longer opened. Instagram shows the page it uses for missing profiles: “Sorry, this page isn’t available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed.”
So either Instagram removed the account, or Duel deleted it itself. Duel and its owner Ossi Ketola, known as Monarch, have not said which. The account was one of the channels where the table clips were shared.
How the table worked
Duel ran the table from its own studio with its own dealers and streamed it around the clock. There were two limits: $10 to $15,000 and $25 to $100,000. The felt printed the rules: blackjack pays 3 to 2, dealer must stand on 17 and draw to 16, insurance pays 2 to 1. We never found a published deck count for the live table.
The cards were only part of the product. The stream sold guests, costumes and shock clips. The founder, Ossi Ketola, said in an AMA that Duel spent about $5 million on celebrity appearances at the table. One industry estimate credits the streams with helping Duel reach $1.66 billion in deposits over twelve months.

Duel’s apology for the prayer rug clip
After the Sneako clip, Duel published a statement and shared it on its Instagram before that account disappeared. It is signed by the company, and Ketola runs the company. It is the only public apology we have found from Duel for anything shown at the table.
- Duel apologises “unreservedly” for the edit and says its content team made it end to end. “The buck stops with Duel.”
- It says there is no room for anything that “could even remotely be read as satire of someone’s faith”, and that mixing anything Islamic with the Duel Blackjack table “was an absolute mistake”.
- It fires one dealer, effective immediately.
- It closes: “Our own faith asks us to love our neighbor as ourselves. In this, we fell short. We are sorry.”
The statement covers the prayer rug clip only. It says nothing about the racist insults, the Nazi uniforms or the other scenes listed above.
Alex’s view: Duel went too far
I watched the Duel Blackjack streams for months while I worked on our Duel review. I was not happy with what the company chose to put on air. Racist insults at players. Dealers in Nazi uniforms and Nazi salutes at the table. In September, a Muslim prayer turned into a joke on a gambling felt.
This is unacceptable in our society. Racism and Nazi symbols hurt real people and real families. Faith is personal, and a casino has no right to use someone’s prayer as content. Duel went too far with all three.
This is a sensitive subject, and it hurt a lot of people: players, viewers and the dealers who had to sit at that table. Duel did apologise for the prayer rug clip. I have not seen a public apology for the racist and Nazi scenes. I hope Duel apologises to everyone it offended. If the table comes back, I hope it comes back without any of this.
What is still unknown
- When the table comes back, or if it will.
- Where the studio is. Duel has never said.
- Who the intruder was and why he came in.
- Whether anyone outside Duel confirms the arrest.
- Whether the months of scandal played any part. The house names only the incident.
- Whether Instagram removed the Duel account or Duel deleted it.
- When exactly X suspended the Duel and Monarch accounts, and for which rule.

Is Duel Blackjack Live closed?
It has been offline since 17 September 2026. On 30 September the page still showed the outage banner and Game not found, and support said the table is under maintenance with no ETA.
Why did Duel shut the table?
Duel says an intruder entered its studio and the whole building was shut. It says the suspect is in custody and no one was hurt. No police statement has been published.
Is it closed because of the scandals?
Duel has not said so. Its only stated reason is the studio incident. No one has shown a link between the stream scandals and the shutdown.
Can I still play blackjack at Duel?
Yes. Duel Blackjack in the Originals row is a software game with no studio and no dealer, and it still runs. Our Duel review covers the rest of the casino.
